Bring your empty containers (or treat yourself to some new ones). We'll share tips from the experts, then turn you loose to roam the greenhouses and select just the right plants to create your own masterpiece. Your cost is the plants and soil you use. All About Bats

For The Garden will host a fall program for early childhood and elementary school-aged children. Last October our workshop, “Along came a spider!” was a huge success. They learned interesting facts about spiders and the important role they play in our environment. Our young visitors also learned a bit about how pumpkins grow, enjoyed a snack and painted a pumpkin to take home. Everyone had a great time!

The program for this October promises to be just as much fun. We’re going to explore some little known facts about bats, and hopefully take away some of the mystery and fear associated with these interesting creatures. We promise an hour full of information disguised as fun! Of course there will be snacks and pumpkin painting too.

For the Garden is currently accepting reservations for this October workshop. The cost for All About BATS!!! is $6.00 per child, and this event, including pumpkin painting will last 50-60 minutes. Each presentation will be age-appropriate.

Our facility is wheelchair accessible and can accommodate busses. This is a rain or shine event! Early booking is encouraged, as spaces full quickly.
